»How did we get some this? Some first thoughts on the decision for the social onslaught ahead of us in Greece«
The sold-out, far-right government of the bankers is a political and historical fact; the “state of emergency” has jumped from the TV screens blasting the messages of propaganda of their ship-owners, straight to this government of dummies.
The System, as complete sovereignty of the parasitic Bourgeois Class, hands authority directly to the para-statists (to begin with, the bankers) — the final refuge for the scum of parliament and Capital.
The manipulations without the people and against it have reached an apogee, all coming from the Unity of the System…
All the parasitical parliamentary powers (PASOK, LAOS -the far-right-, New Democracy, the Communist Party, SYRIZA) of the Bourgeois Class, after criminalising the popular expression-referendum and played it down as a “false dilemma”, moved into an even more reactionary path…
They set up, under the command of bankers and shipowners, a new authoritarian hyper-structure of puppets that will respond to absolutely no [popular] expression, not even the most humble one, as is the electoral result.
A government of “national unity” with plenty of plaster [a reference to an infamous quote by the dictator Papadopoulos, that the country was sick and needed be placed in „plaster“ --trans], with a sold-out chief banker as a prime minister, and a top priority of validating the Brussels agreement, which ordered the bankruptcy of the people and the rescue of the bankers and their shares. Puppets from across the parliamentary scum range, PASOK-New Democracy-the Communist Party-SYRIZA-LAOS, decided, either with a bang or with a whimper (scorning their institutions), the execution of the people in Greece, immediately and without the pretense of the humble, and equally scorned democratic intentions of the Constitution…
The takeover of power by para-statists (bankers and other puppets) is a political choice of the unity of the system (political parties, shipowners-mass media, embassies, foreign centres of power-EU, etc) as this has been established in Greece after the war.
Only hours after the reference to a referendum, which should have been a demand of the society in order to halt the hordes of the puppets turning against the people, an unprecedented unity of the system made its appearance. All bourgeois parties became a solid body of power, which even for a few hours was forced to abandon its supposed ideological reference and to turn into a solid, Class body against society… It is within those exact hours that we were brought into the “state of emergency”.
The photo-frame of the coalition would fit the smiles of all the corrupt and corroded parties of the parliament, PASOK-LAOS-ND-KKE-SYRIZA, the bankers, the shipowners… National unity has shrunk into the far-right parts of the system, which are nowadays ready to commit any crime against the people. The choices had been made for a while, and from today political life changes. Authority, by nominating these puppets, shows the path of resistance beyond the prissiness of the morons of the left. Society will respond, even if it is now startled in face of the social onslaught. The massiveness of social counter-violence can overthrow them as a whole, as it threatens them in their entirety and it can send the – so precious for them – social peace and systemic balance to hell.
On May 25th, from afternoon until dawn, nearly 40,000 of all types of neo-Greeks filled Syntagma Square to validate in the worst way the Troika memorandum, the austerity measures and the exclusive privilege of the use of force by the State.
Yesterday’s necrophilic, petit-bourgeois gathering took place just two weeks after the State’s fierce attack against the strike demonstration of May 11th with a record of hundreds of heads bleeding and the demonstrator Yannis Kafkas hospitalized in a coma, and only a few days after the unprecedented escalation of racist violence and social cannibalism a bit farther than Syntagma –in the other, downgraded centre of Athens: with repeated attacks of cops and fascists against homes, shops of immigrants and anarchists’ squats, with devotees of fascism abusing the brutal murder of Manolis Kantaris while neo-Nazi groups launched pogroms injuring a total of hundreds of immigrants, and fatally stabbed the Bangladeshian Alim Abdul Manan.
The peaceful gathering at Syntagma was held in about the same time when comrades gathered in Victoria Square to resist actively against the State terror, the racial segregations and the scums of the national backbone.
In accordance with the standards of the pathetic movement ‘Democracia Real YA’ of Spanish reformists and ‘geração à rasca’ of Portuguese pacifists, one more apolitical gathering was called out through facebook, in front of the Greek Kynovoulio this time [Kynovoulio, Doghouse instead of Koinovoulio, Parliament –an untranslatable play of words]. The symbolic presence of cops in front of the ‘Unknown soldier monument’ should not fool us. It wasn’t only the riot police that defended the symbols of Power but mainly the large number of ‘indignant citizens’ that declared by all means allegiance to bosses and the State.
The compulsive pacifism of a pseudo-movement of resistance was, is and will be one more version of State violence. The proponents of parliamentary system, wherever these might be, propose pacifism expecting to manipulate the crowd and canalize the peoples’ rage into reformist paths of the existing system instead of its overthrow. After all, the profile of the peaceful democratic demonstrator is what the State and the Capital demand as well.
These particular first gatherings at Syntagma Square in Athens, as well as in central spots of other cities in Greece have given an unofficial vote of confidence to a system rotten from its foundations. We see in a European level such movements functioning as relief valves against the social and class war. What a cop’s baton and a fascist’s knife cannot reach, is handled by the reformist propaganda of apolitical facebookers.
The antagonist movement and radical dissidents should reveal the reactionary and counter-revolutionary nature of this counterfeiting of revolts in the Arab world. One of the fundamental characteristics of capitalism is its power to transform and absorb the voices of defiance. By designificating words such as rage, revolt, revolution the system and its applauders hope that they will demean the movement of social liberation and divert it into paths which are painless for themselves.
The warnings given by Madrileños to the campers of Syntagma like ‘make no riot attacks’ have resonance to many people. The regimes’ Press worldwide reproduces, invests and adorns the arguments of pacifists, and sells those as the only ‘hopeful’ perspective.
As long as we don’t act towards the seizure of the means of production, the abolition of property, the multiracial rebellion and the setting up of structures of mutual aid and self-organization but instead we surrender our flags and weapons at Syntagma [also Constitution] or anywhere else by singing and listening the national hymn; as long as we’re in a playful mood with guitars and treacly songs whereas we should have been grabbing a stone, we remain slaves of the bosses.
Once again conscience of democrats could not tolerate killing of innocent people in the Libya. Once again clement hearts of democrats were hurt of intensity of Gaddafi’s crimes. Once again brutality of Gaddafi raised the solidarity of democrats. Once again democrats are determined to protect the people of Libya. Once again democrats are spending millions of dollars in their “humanitarian war”, and they coded the name of their war “humanitarian”. What deceit and lies!
Lies and hypocrisy of Democrats and their philanthropy becomes apparent when no part of the working class, in these countries, is safe from the evil attacks of the bourgeoisie. West bourgeoisie applying the hardest economic austerity to the working class.
Hypocrisy of democrats and the amount of their philanthropy is denuded when Saudi Arabia and allies of the America and West, in the region, cracks down the protesters in Bahrain and the democrats don’t object. Suppression of protests in other countries such as Jordan and Yemen is not important to them and their philanthropy has not been questioned.
Democrats are not only witness for massacring of people in Ivory Coast, but also they and especially France are involved in these crimes and their actions are resulting in the killing of thousands and displaced over one million people. A question that arises is why the conscience of democrats does not bother about it? Why the nests of thieves and vulture nests (UN) became strangled?
West bourgeois has been defender of the „revolution“ of Libya and also supports the interim government. The interim government, basically, is a group of criminals of the former cabinet members of Gaddafi. The former Justice Minister, former Secretary Minister of Gaddafi ”Moussa Koussa” and other criminals, who are members of such an interim government. ”Moussa Koussa” was head of Libyan intelligence services for 14 years and he is as guilty as Gaddafi.
Rebels also announced „National Council of Libya“. In 4th April 2011, rebels sent the first cargo of oil, including one million barrels of crude oil through the port „Tobruk“. Qatar has expressed the wish for marketing of their oil, because it has recognized the Revolutionary Council in Benghazi as the legitimate government. The agreement of rebels with Qatar indicates that the rebels just pursuing benefits that only want to change the ruling class and to adept the national capital to the routines of global capital to secure the accumulation of capital.
This war is a reactionary war. War between different factions of the bourgeoisie in their dirty goals and interests. This war has caused thousands of inhabitants of cities in the fear of war, to escape the outskirts of cities. Shortage of food and drinking water has become an acute problem. This war breaks down the headband of the society and takes away the requirements for independent working class struggle. So this war is a war against the working class. This war prevents the working class as a social class, and gives its imprint to the events. Thousands of „foreign“ workers, because of the war, fled from Libyan, and lost their jobs. Exacerbation of ethnic, tribe and religious divisions, has overshadowed the class unity of the workers. This war diverts the protests from developing to an independent class struggle. This war prevented that the working class to create its independent neighborhood committees, factory committees, strike committees, fighting committees, etc. (mehr…)
